The PIXLED F-11 is an ultra-lightweight, semi-transparent LED video display suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The use of Nichia SMD LEDs - at a pixel pitch of 11.25mm - make the display an ideal solution for applications with relatively short viewing distances and wide viewing angles. With its 5,500 NIT light output and IP65 rating, the F-11 can equally be used for outdoor applications where environments are more demanding and viewing distances are significantly greater.
Ultra Lightweight
The cost of an LED installation is often influenced by the total weight of the installation. Limitations on ceiling load bearings, tight spaces, materials and budgets can restrict creativity and limit how much LED is integrated into a design. Weighing only 3 kg per tile (15kg/33lbs per m2), the F-11 is four times lighter than the current industry average, removing many typical design constraints and opening up new creative design possibilities for both rental and permanent installations. The ultra lightweight of the F-11 also considerably reduces transport costs and requires less manpower to install.
Transparency
With the rapid convergence of video and lighting, the demand for transparent LED video displays is growing significantly. The F-11 features a unique, integrated shutter system, which provides the user with the option of using the display as a "solid" screen with zero transparency/maximum contrast, or a semi-transparent screen with 10% transparency.
Superb color depth
In addition to delivering deep black levels, the F-11 features 4.4 trillion color processing and the Radiant color calibration system. They operate simultaneously to deliver rich, vibrant video images with superb color depth and uniformity across the entire display surface.
Designed to travel
The F-11 is a modular system (45cmx45cm/1.48'x1.48' tile), specially designed for easy transportation and quick rigging. With rugged, easy-to-use interlocking systems, standard off-the-shelf BNC data connections and custom designed flightcases, the F-11 can be installed with ease with the minimal amount of manpower. Quick-connect hanging brackets guarantee a robust connection to any truss system. Modularity and Climbing can be made very simple with optional Touring modules - which are 4 or 6 tiles big - providing quick access to any part of the screen. With its IP65 rating, the display is ideally suited to withstand though weather conditions.
